About Dr. Chien Shien Yang
Chien Shien Yang, MD, is a Board Certified Psychiatrist based in San Jose. He provides telehealth psychiatric care across California in English and Mandarin Chinese.
Dr. Yang’s California clinical experience includes outpatient psychiatry with Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, work in Alameda County, and most recently work in Santa Clara County. He earned his medical degree from UNMC College of Medicine and completed psychiatry residency training through Creighton University and UNMC in Omaha, Nebraska.

As a physician in psychiatry, I provide medication management and psychotherapy with a comprehensive, collaborative approach. My role is to offer medical guidance and treatment options while we work toward your goals.
Working in private practice allows me to provide individualized care. Outside of work, I enjoy different cuisines, travel, and photography.
